Children who are healthy, smart, cheerful, charming, or quick-witted often fall prey to the evil eye. Although it may seem strange, it has been observed that even the looks of the mother, father, brother, or sister can affect the child. A child suffering from the effects of the evil eye may become restless, stop feeding, cry unnecessarily, behave irritably, and sometimes develop a fever and begin to grow weak.

To treat the effects of the evil eye, recite Surah Al-Kawthar along with Bismillah, and blow over the child’s face. This will help relieve the child from the effects of the evil eye.
