Abnormal Life (Abnormality)

Question:
My younger brother, who is ten years old, went with his mother to Sadar about a month ago. There, at the bus stop, he became so frightened by the sound of a bus horn that his hands and feet went numb, his throat became dry, and his complexion turned pale. After this incident, his condition changed in such a way that his throat remained dry and he began drinking water constantly. He also started feeling the urge to urinate frequently.

His mother immediately took him to the hospital, but the doctors declared him normal. On the second and third day, the same episode occurred again. In the same way, his hands and feet went numb and his throat became dry. One strange thing is that if a song happens to be playing during the episode, he starts crying when he hears that same song again later.

Especially in the morning, the episode becomes more severe. His eyelids feel heavy and the episode begins. He remains frightened all the time, and he also has a fear that some influence has affected him. Due to a feeling of suffocation, he keeps pacing constantly. Sometimes he complains of stomach pain, sometimes chest pain, and sometimes headache. His ECG is normal. Urine and blood tests are also normal.

Despite this, he constantly keeps his hand on his chest, checking his heartbeat. His heartbeat becomes so fast that its sound can be clearly heard. We find it very difficult to witness him in this condition.

Answer:
Collect a large number of peacock feathers and remove the hard quills from them. From the remaining decorative feathers, write the Qur’anic verse:

“Mā kazaba al-fu’ādu mā ra’ā”
(“The heart did not deny what it saw.”)

Adopt this method: have a calligrapher write this verse in double-lined script with a thick pen on smooth paper. The double-lined writing should be spacious enough so that the peacock feathers can be easily affixed within it. Place this white paper on black velvet cloth and have it framed.

Then tell the child to fix his gaze on this verse repeatedly, day and night, with intervals in between.

Increase the use of sweet foods in his diet. In particular, after the ‘Asr prayer and before sunset, he should eat approximately 60 grams of warm jalebi. The jalebi should not be cold, and it should contain plenty of syrup.

By following this treatment based on the principle of prayer and remedy, In shā’ Allāh, this abnormality will be resolved within 40 days.
