When a person experiences an attack of insanity, no matter how it begins, whether gradually or suddenly, there is always a congestion of currents inside the “mother brain” (central brain). Since these currents do not find a way to escape, due to pressure the inner walls of the cells break and at some places the passages open more than normal.
It is not necessary that there is absolutely no emptiness anywhere. In many cells the current becomes almost equal to zero, and the person becomes completely inattentive and blank while just sitting. Although this is not exactly a disease, when such emptiness occurs in the central brain, the influence of current in one direction increases excessively inside the cells, to such an extent that those cells become empty of any kind of memory. Even though the person wants to remember old events, tries again and again, they do not come back to memory.
On one side this happens, and on the other side, such congestion of currents occurs that the brain stops functioning. Thus, the natural order and arrangement of currents within the cells is disturbed, it becomes so irregular that the patient speaks one thing related to the earth and another related to the sky. Such a person is what we, in our terminology, call insane. Madness may be less or more, there is no fixed limit for it.
