When young children are affected by the evil eye, they often stop drinking milk, become irritable, and cry without any apparent reason. This condition disturbs the parents and everyone in the household.
Take a blue thread and measure it from the child’s head to the feet seven times. Recite یَابَرُّ (Ya Barru) seven times, blowing first on the child and then on the thread. After this, burn the thread. The harmful effect of the evil eye will be removed.
For protection against intoxication and harmful habits, perform ablution, sit facing the Holy Kaaba, and recite Ya Barru eleven hundred times. This practice creates a strong dislike for evil deeds. To benefit from this change, one must also use personal willpower and sound judgment.
