It is such a disease that usually spreads through rats. Initially this disease spreads through rats that are infested with fleas and bugs that carry the plague. When rats start dying because of this disease, the fleas and bugs start to attack human beings. It is identified by chills, fevers and swellings in the body folds mostly in the armpits and groin. With the increase in swelling the fever also increases so much so that the temperature becomes 108°F and the patient expires in two or three days. With the increase in temperature the patient becomes unconscious or is unable to recognize anybody or understand anything.
Plague germs after coming out of the rat burrows manage to reach the groins and armpits of humans through the feet of the person walking nearby. They multiply themselves with incredible speed. If in one minute they are in thousands in the next minute they become tens of thousands and in the next minute they are in millions.
To treat this contagious disease, recite the following verse of the Holy Quran one thousand times and blow upon adequate amount of water.
الطَّلَاقُ مَرَّتَانِ ۖ فَإِمْسَاكٌ بِمَعْرُوفٍ أَوْ تَسْرِيحٌ بِإِحْسَانٍ ۗ وَلَا يَحِلُّ لَكُمْ أَن تَأْخُذُوا مِمَّا آتَيْتُمُوهُنَّ شَيْئًا إِلَّا أَن يَخَافَا أَلَّا يُقِيمَا حُدُودَ اللَّهِ ۖ فَإِنْ خِفْتُمْ أَلَّا يُقِيمَا حُدُودَ اللَّهِ فَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْهِمَا فِيمَا افْتَدَتْ بِهِ ۗ تِلْكَ حُدُودُ اللَّهِ فَلَا تَعْتَدُوهَا ۚ وَمَن يَتَعَدَّ حُدُودَ اللَّهِ فَأُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الظَّالِمُونَ (229)
Make the patient drink water in five doses. After the first dose the second dose should be given after one hour, third dose after two hours, forth dose after two hours of the third one and the fifth one after three hours of the last dose given or in other words doses are to given in the 1st, 2nd, 7th and 12th hour starting the count from the first dose which is one draught of water. If the patient recovery is not satisfactory repeat the same process. Signs of patient recovery is the dropping of temperature. Keep on repeating till the patient is completely recovered.
