Head Ache
Recite:
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِیم
رَ ضَیْنَا بِا الْقَضَیْنَا فَاتُوْ بُرْھَا نْ اَلْفَ مَرَّۃٍ
and blow on a cotton handkerchief and make a knot in the kerchief. Tie this kerchief on the head in such a way that the knot should be resting on the temple. If the headache has become chronic then tie the kerchief early in the morning, open it for a short while before going to sleep and tie it again. The kerchief may be removed when bathing is intended this is to be practiced for some days.
Migraine
Make the patient squat on the ground having face towards the east before sunrise and to place right hand on side of the head that aches. And, a male or female child of tender age (12 twelve), should recite the following and blow on the patient.
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِیم
فَرِیْقٌ کَذَّبْتَ مُهَیمْ
